Below we've jotted down some of the things we recommend to help out sellers and buyers. Things like best practices, things you should get, and things you should avoid. We can't make y'all do these things, and we don't try to. These are just some STRONG recommendations
Tips when buying

PPE For Horses
Pre - Purchase exams (PPE) are to help ensure the health status and biological details of the horse are something we Highly Recommend. These are typically at the Buyer's expense but that is ultimately up to the parties to arrange. We'd like to remind you to never assume that a horse is held simply because a PPE is Pending. Seller's we recommend you request a deposit before holding any equine.

Put in on Paper
Sellers: We strongly recommend some form of sale agreement between you and the buyer. In the template packet you receive when you purchase a listing we've provided a generic option if you don't have your own, but you are welcome to alter it or have it altered, in any way.
Buyers: We recommend you retain some form of sale agreement as proof of ownership and legal protection. Seller's may provide one, but if they don't, do not be afraid to advocate for yourself and ask them to sign one you have.

Protect Your Horse
We recommend that all buyer's insure their equine immediately after purchasing, visit our business recommendations page for our favorite agent. Once purchased the equine is your sole responsibility. If you don't have an insurance agent or agency we are happy to provide a recommendation. But we would suggest you do some research and request quotes before purchasing so you are prepared.

Registration
We recommend all registration / transfer paperwork is sent to the buyer electronically after the sale is final. After Final Sale we recommend that a paper copy or original version of the papers are mailed with tracking through a verified mailing service such as USPS/UPS. We further recommend that all buyers make copies of transfer paperwork for their personal files in case there is ever a misplacement of the originally sent version or a disruption with the electronic file.

Coggins / Health Papers
To stay in accordance with Equine Shipping Guidelines as well as general best practice, we both recommend and request that all sellers provide a coggins and health certification with any equine sale. Your regular veterinarian should be able to help you acquire these items if you don't already have them. If you have any questions about the reason for this recommendation, please let us know via the contact information below or the chat feature and we'd be happy to provide more details.

Transportation
For reasons of efficiency and professionalism, hauler, tack, or clothing shipping should be arranged within 7 days after final sale. Cut-N-Run is happy to help arrange transport for equines, purchase package dependent. Visit our business recommendations page for our favorite haulers. We recommend that buyers request to insure packages. Sellers should provide tracking to buyer.
